Bank 1 o r 2 for Software. Bank 1, 2, 3 or 4 for Gateware. Selection of the type of

code is automatic based on the file extension.

The new code becomes active following a module reset. The type of reset can be

determined at this stage:

• Select the reset method using the object:

mgnt2LoadResetMethod

Possible values of this object are:

Manual – 0

The User will manually switch the new code into service following the instructions

in the Activation Phase.

Immediate – 1

With this option the Module will Reset automatically on completion of the

transfer. In the case of a Software transfer the type of Reset is User defined (cold

or warm), in the case of a Gateware transfer the Reset will be a cold Reset.

Scheduled – 2

This option is reserved for future use.

• Select reset mode.

In the case of a Software transfer and when the Reset method is Immediate or

Scheduled the type of Reset is defined using the object:

• mgnt2LoadResetMode

Possible values of this object are:

Cold Reset – 0 (traffic may affecting)

Warm Reset – 1 (traffic not affected)

In the case of a Gateware transfer it is mandatory to select the Cold reset option.

In the case of a Software transfer, it is recommended to select the Warm reset

option.
